Hello FTG Friends,
I've missed
you! I've missed your sweet responses to my emails, but after six years of weekly emails (318 weeks in a row), I'm enjoying the "pause" I've been taking since the first of the year. A break from the norm is such a great way to generate new perspective and feed our need for diversity. More on that in a moment.
I don't always choose a word of the year unless one happens to surface in obvious ways. This year, I'm marinating a lot on balance and ease, as well as narrowed focus and intentional choices. (As a lover of words, how could I choose just one?!)
An organic "stripping away" in business activity and even in relationships is occurring, to the point it's not coincidental anymore. Something is happening. It feels like I'm going into an incubation season. I'm not concerned or scared, but rather I feel peacefully trusting and surrendered. And honestly, even a little excited. I welcome whatever's happening, because
it feels bigger than me.
As a result, I'm asking myself what do I really want? How do I want to spend my time and energy? What am I willing to give up to have more of something else?
Among my contemplations, I've been exploring different ways and frequency regarding connecting with you. I'm still seeking clarity around that, so my "pause" will continue for now, at least from sending weekly emails.
Today, however, please enjoy a short video of a recent, nature-inspired meditation. It was recorded on a cold, December morning when I stumbled upon a lesson about the need for adventure. Enjoy! Until later, my friends, be well and ever grateful
for the gifts.
